The revolution happens on India. TATA NANO was invented and popular to many Indian. It has declared motto, the cheapest car in the world, and received much recognition. Actually, it is the fact that TATA NANO is the cheapest car in the world, however, it does not have many functions that the contemporary automobile has to have. It costs 2,400,000 won by Korean currency. Air conditioner and radio are not provided on basic model. You have to open the door by hand operating and could use the wiper only one. The fuel efficiency is 20km/L and the maximum speed is 130km/h. Indian welcome TATA NANO because they could buy cheap car. But it is spread partly that TATA NANO will cause environment pollution and traffic jam. Someone talks cynically it is just a motorcycle which has four wheels. Although something is not enough, TATA NANO has already known well.

Opinion
What is the car you know in general? The main purpose of driving car is to move comfortably for driving. Today, the automobile companies do not concentrate on that function only. Lots of things are added like air conditioner, wiper, radio and so on. The car has more meanings than just driving. What happen to us unless there are cars which do not have additional functions like air conditioner or radio?
Consumers consider many things. Lots of factors might be those things, however, we can not ignore the cost easily. Cost has much proportion at choosing products. The company inventing TATA NANO planned that the most competitive force was cheap cost in India. So they have succeeded even though many weak points. I guess they might research India’s situation precisely and plan the most proper marketing strategy that is the most appropriate to India. India has been developed since independence and almost people could not live abundantly. They may consider quantity more than quality. So it is not the problems to drive a car that nothing is expected except function to drive and it is not safe because of substituting metal components to plastic. The best marketing strategy makes TATA NANO succeed in India.
