Summary
The growth of Nintendo in market surprises world and most people focus their interests on that. Nintendo has grown more and more as selling Wii console more than Playstation3 of Sony which was the largest console game firm before. Nintendo also surpassed selling amount of Microsoft’s Xbox360 though the main business of Microsoft known for computer processing software is not gaming consoles. It happened by end of 2005. Someone estimated Nintendo Wii won the launch phase.
Nintendo Wii has already broken sales record of Playstation’s series and Xbox and is dominant on gaming world. But it is still potential at developing possibility. Nintendo which is the firm using energy-saving chips and a standard optical disk player will have competitive advantages on the aspect of costs.
The impressive designs are enough to catch customers. Nintendo makes a effort at fostering gamers steady by motivating gamers with splendid designs. Their strategy is to satisfy existing gamers and add the expanded audience. Furthermore, Wii revives Mario. Nintendo selects the way to use Mario again which was a very popular icon for avoiding difficulties of inventing new characters.

Opinion
Nintendo has also been known to Korean though it is Japan’s. It is so common for Korean to hate Japan and something relating at Japan if not having bad events directly. Under this situation, Japanese product, Nintendo, do not have competitive advantages. But Nintendo succeeds on Korea. Nintendo has become one of the essential necessities in our life beyond as one of the gaming consoles simply. Nintendo must have made efforts to overcome disadvantages.
I find the answer where the solutions to overcome difficulties were. Nintendo approached to consumers with lower price. In fact, the cost of other firm’s gaming consoles is much expensive for using it as being funny. Nintendo have tried to develop techniques for reducing price and lots of customers buy it. The best advantage at low price could overcome the disadvantages in Korea.
Nintendo also did not miss these customers. Managing to keep existing gamers as well as expanding the audience is important to firms for succeeding. Nintendo succeeds not to lose the existing customers by little sponsoring the gamers. Nintendo planned strategies to several ways for succeeding in Korea.
